The Matt Cardy Group websites are being added to all the time. Some people ask why we keep making more websites when just one will do the job. Well, take Evans Halshaw for instance, Dixons, Reg Vardy, Polar Motor Group, Camden, Appleyard etc. etc. the list goes on. Their success in different areas is based on duplication. They started off with one car showroom and grew based on the success of that showroom, so they opened one in a different area and expanded their business.
We are doing the same thing on the internet selling many different vehicles in many different sectors and countries in the World. Our current portfolio of websites looks like this.
Our Flagship website from which has been our launching pad, selling Right Hand Drive, Left Hand Drive, American, Sports, Prestige and 4x4 cars. Attracting literally thousands of visitors every month, Matt Cardy Specialist Cars is a website that has been developed and added to over the past two years to make it what it is today.
By listening to our customers needs, suggestions and requirements, in September 2007 we launched our new online market place for car accessories incorporating In Car Entertainment systems, Alloy Wheels and body enhancement kits; and various specialist items for the discerning motorist. We are very proud to have been approached by Project Kahn as an official supplier of their own manufactured goods. We continue to work with the best suppliers in the industry to provide our customers with the best possible products.
In 2003 we identified a market that was born from a visit to Spain. The number of people that have relocated to continental Europe, be it for business, pleasure or retirement has grown in recent years, many people still trying to conquer the language barrier. In trying to buy a car from a used car pitch in Spain we came up against a lot of brick walls and trying to haggle the price down was near impossible, so Brits would be forced to pay the price and take the car leaving a lucky 'non-English speaking Spaniard' laughing while counting his money, safe in the knowledge he'd successfully conned another Brit.
Don't get me wrong, this doesn't happen everywhere, but this was what we found in one place, so we concluded that it could be happening elsewhere too. From what we've heard it has and this is why we've seen astounding success with LHD in Europe.
Throughout the 80's and 90's Europeans have had a love affair with American Cars. We've opened up an office in America and have been importing LHD European cars back into the continent, as cars are so much cheaper in the US. Also, the popular models such as the Mustang, Hummer, Lincoln Navigators etc continue to be popular, despite ever increasing fuel prices. Therefore we continue to supply American vehicles to every continent the World over. LHD Specialist concentrates more on these American carriages.
The decision came to construct a Porsche specialist website and call it 'Xcel' was because we excel when it comes to the Porsche marque. There are a number of golden rules when buying a Porsche, mainly where specification is concerned and if you order it without a couple of key 'ingredients' you could see the resale value suffer greatly. We are exerts when it comes to Porsche, mainly because of our love of all things Porsche.
We acquire Porsches from Germany, America and directly from the UK dealers. This allows us to be competitive when it comes to pricing, diverse when it comes to what is available and productive when it comes to our customer's demands. The saving that is availbale from inporting a LHD Porsche from America can be huge, as it can be for certain models that are ordered in Germany.
By looking at the prices advertised on our site, you might think that there isn't a great saving to be made, and some models are even more expensive than in the UK. However, these are the base prices of the base vehicles and once you have sopecified what optional extras you want on your vehicle, there is a possibility of a much greater saving.
First of all, I must point out that this has nothing to do with the Easy Group of which Stelios of Easy Jet fame is credited with. We named it 'Easy Car Source' because it does exactly what it says on the site. It's easy. You tell us what car you require and we do all the leg work and searching for the car for you. We don't get involved in inflating prices for our own gain, we simply provide a service to find you the car you are searchig for. We only charge a flat fee for doing this and your dealing is strictly with the main dealer where the car is located.
The concept came from an idea we had when a customer came to us through Matt Cardy Specialist Cars and told us he wanted us to find hi a vehicle because he hadn't got the time to trawl the internet carrying out a mudane task to find his car. He trusted us to do it for him. We then put him and the dealer together and they made music.
You might think that in this current climate of 'Cut out the middle man' why people would use our services, but when you're looking for a rare car, or even a not so rare car, we are the experts. We know what to look for in a vehicle and where to look for a vehicle. This could take the inexperienced a lot of time, a lot of hassle and a lot of heartache if you were to find a sub-standard vehicle. That's when you're better off employing the services of an agent to do it all for you. That is what we do at Easy Car Source.
The American Arm of our business. In the summer of 2007 we set up Giles Auto Sales to cater to customers who would prefer to deal with a US company.
Supplying everything from Acuras to Volvos and everything in between. Giles Auto Sales will export cars to anywhere around the World.
Ebay brands itself as the Global Marketplace. The facts actually speak for itself, a car sells every two minutes on Ebay, Millions of registered buyers and sellers, your ability to know a good buyer/seller by the feedback they have and the list goes on. Who hasn't heard of Ebay?
As we don't hold stock and we don't supply the usual dealer services such as finance or part exchange, every year we have thousands of people ask us if we can take their cars in Part Exchange. The answer is no. Part Exchanges used to be a great money spinner for traditional dealers and the tricks they used to play on unsuspecting public were just wrong. When you think you're getting a great deal on your existing car, you're really not. Not taking this too far, suffice to say we don't trick people and we don't take part exchange.
What we do is advertise these cars for free on our websites and if the customer would like, we will professionally list the car for sale in an Ebay auction. We never guarantee that the car will sell, but we do our level best to maximise the amount the customer receives for their existing car.

Currently under construction, but due for launch in Autumn 2007 is The World Limo Company. We're very proud to announce that we have teamed up with one of the leading manufacturers of custom stretched Limousines in the US. We have been appointed to become their sole suppliers of Limos in the UK and Europe for which we are very excited about.

Another one that is currently under construction, but due for launch at the beginning of 2008. The Hybrid Car Company is a project that was born one night in a brain storming session. We believe we're the first internet retailer to have a site that is exclusive for Hybrid and other alternative fuel vehicles.

The E-Car section is a trademark of the Matt Cardy Group. It's an abbreviation of Electronic Creative Auto Retail. E-Car Sold is currently in the stages of development and is undergoing rigorous testing in order to set our brand apart, even though our services are totally unique.
We are currently in talks and negotiations to produce an exciting, new and creative way of producing more sales leads and more profit opportunities for dealer groups around the UK by utilizing the services provided by E-Car Sold.
